The Tennessee Titans were back on the field for practice on Monday, and the defense bounced back after being bested on Saturday.
With the sun beating down on a hot day, the Titans got to work and had some heated competition, with safety Tony Adams being ejected for throwing a punch at wide receiver Elic Ayomanor.
The significant news from this one is an injury to Mitch Trubisky, who is being evaluated for a potential bicep injury in his throwing arm; other than that, and some bumps and bruises to wide receiver Carnell Tate, the Titans finished strong.
Cam Ward and the offense did have some positive moments, and Tyjae Spears flashed in Tony Pollard’s absence, but Jeffery Simmons was too much to handle today, and the defense made a statement.
There were some uneven moments, and some players struggled, but as always, some players rose above and flashed. Here is a breakdown of some of the standouts from Monday’s practice.
Mitch Trubisky was having a day
Prior to injuring his arm and leaving practice early, Trubisky started the day strong with multiple touchdown passes in team drills. Now the team must wait on the diagnosis and hope that he is not out for an extended period.

Robinson continues to make plays and build chemistry with Ward, which is a great sign for the offense. He is also a leader in the room, working to help all of the receivers grow and make Ward more comfortable.
