The Tennessee Titans have undergone a tremendous overhaul during the 2026 offseason and appear to be improving on the field, and buzz is growing in Nashville and in the national media, which believes the Titans could be a team on the rise.
Unfortunately, while that excitement can be felt in many different areas and even seen on social media, it appears that not all Titans’ fans are quite as optimistic. Bryan Dardo of CBS Sports recently looked at a survey of 5,000 NFL fans and found that the Titans sit near the bottom of the optimism chart.
No. 30: Tennessee Titans
Like the Browns, the Titans are also ushering in a new era this season that, if nothing else, should give their fan base some level of hope for the future. Tennessee's new staff includes a defensive guru in head coach Robert Saleh and the only Giants coach to win a playoff game since Big Blue won their most recent Super Bowl in offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
In some ways, this is a bit of a surprise after all of the work general manager Mike Borgonzi and the organization did during the offseason, upgrading the coaching staff, improving the roster, and overseeing a complete rebrand of the Titans ahead of the final season in Nissan Stadium. Yes, there is still work to do, and the team must show improvement during the season, but for the first time in a few seasons, there are actually reasons for fans to be optimistic heading into the season.
