We assumed Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft might need some time to get back to form after returning to full practice recently.

After all, we’ve seen time and time again that players aren’t always themselves upon returning from a torn ACL.

However, that doesn’t appear to be the case with Kraft, who is dominating in his first two days of 11-on-11 periods at Packers practice.

According to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman, Kraft has caught every ball thrown his way over his first two days of 11-on-11s, and he threw in a one-handed catch for good measure.

“According to my calculations, Tucker Kraft has 10 catches on 10 targets in his first two days of 11-on-11,” Schneidman wrote. “That includes a TD Sunday and a one-handed grab in double coverage for what might’ve been a long catch-and-run TD today.”

Safe to say, Kraft is already in midseason form.

On the road to elite

Tucker Kraft was ascending to the status of an elite tight end last season before his campaign was cut short due to injury.

Kraft had 32 catches, 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games.

If we extrapolate that over a 17-game season, he could’ve finished with 68 catches for 1,039 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Those yardage and touchdown totals would’ve ranked second and first among tight ends, respectively.

If he can stay healthy for a full season in 2026, Kraft should cement himself as one of the game’s truly elite tight ends.

Tucker Kraft’s fantasy football outlook

Kraft ranked as TE4 overall in PPR leagues last season before he went down with his injury, according to Fantasy Pros.

While he does have a lot of competition for targets with guys like Christian Watson, Matthew Golden and Jayden Reed in the mix, there’s still plenty of room for him to eat.

Seeing as how it looks like he’s not going to miss a beat upon his return from injury, it’s safe to assume he’s going to be ranked among the best tight ends in 2026.

Knowing that, we projected him as a locked-in TE1 and he should be one of the first handful of tight ends off the board in fantasy drafts.
