SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Blackwell Hornets will be looking to make headlines in Clint Linman's first year as head coach this season.
The Hornets finished 4-7 overall and 3-1 in district last year.
Texas Football magazine has picked Blackwell to win the District 7-1A Division II in 2026.
The Hornets' district foes include: Loraine, Olfen, Trent, and Valera Panther Creek.
Blackwell has half of its starters back on both sides of the ball.
Linman is planning to use multiple formations offensively and defensively, which should keep opponents guessing.
