Two Georgia Bulldogs football commits have been named to USA TODAY’s All-American high school football team. Five-star running back Kemon Spell was featured on the first-team, while fellow Georgia commit tight end Jaxon Dollar made the team too.
Both Spell and Dollar have the potential to make an instant impact on Georgia’s offense when they are expected arrive in Athens next season. The duo has been excellent at their respective positions on the high school level, and both players now find themselves as All-Americans as a result. Spell originally committed to Georgia in February, while Dollar announced his UGA commitment in April.
Spell has been a superstar throughout his time at McKeesport High School, as the running back recorded 1,755 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns across his junior year. Both Spell and Dollar are widely regarded as two of the top players at their position from their class, as Dollar hauled in an impressive 1,190 yards and 20 touchdowns during his junior season.
Spell was named to USA TODAY’s All-America first team, while Dollar was listed under the second team offense. Both players have the potential to emerge as stars in Athens next season, and the duo now finds themselves among the top high school players in the nation.
Several college football programs including Miami have been trying to flip Spell from Georgia. Spell is Georgia's highest ranked commitment.
