Roma is tightening its grip on the flanks.
At the top of D’Amico’s list are Alessio Cacciamani and Destiny Udogie, two different but highly sought-after players.
The former could also move between the two positions behind the center forward, but to snatch him from Torino, a compromise on his price still needs to be found.
As Il Tempo reports, Cacciamani’s valuation remains unclear. Cairo has also received offers for other players in the squad, and potential transfers could allow Torino to withstand the onslaught of the 2007-born player and keep him at Torino.
Roma are instead aiming for a loan with an option to buy for Udogie, a deal Tottenham have not yet considered.
Further complicating matters is Spurs’ situation on the flanks: after finalizing Spence’s transfer to Inter, the English club could decide not to release another winger this transfer window.
Luis Henrique, who has been offered to Roma but is currently considered a difficult option, remains on the table.
The Brazilian could potentially return to the spotlight in the final days of the transfer window, but only under one condition: in this case, too, D’Amico would only consider a loan with an option to buy.
