The North Carolina Tar Heels continue to build their recruiting board for the 2027 and 2028 classes as Michael Malone and his staff work towards the future of the program.
UNC has several offers out to 2027 and 2028 prospects and are moving forward in identifying top targets. As Fall approaches, it will be a busy time for visits across the country, including in Chapel Hill. But one of North Carolina's top targets is now drawing interest from a heated rival.
On Friday, five-star small forward Demarcus Henry took to social media to announce he has received an offer from the Duke Blue Devils:

The small forward hails from Arizona and now has 29 offers in his recruiting. He has some big programs after him, including Kansas, Arkansas, Kentucky, UConn, and Louisville in addition to UNC and Duke.
With the Blue Devils now getting involved, it could change some things in this recruitment. We might be headed or a Blue Blood battle here in the coming months.
The 6-foot-7, 190-pound Henry is ranked No. 4 nationally, No. 1 small forward, and No. 1 player in the state of Arizona per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
