The Washington Huskies are among the finalists for one of the elite prospects in the 2027 class, four-star small forward Deng Ngor. Ngor, a 6-foot-8, 195-pound product of Fort Erie International.

The Washington Huskies are among the finalists for one of the elite prospects in the 2027 class, four-star small forward Deng Ngor. Ngor, a 6-foot-8, 195-pound product of Fort Erie International Academy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is ranked as the No. 29 overall prospect and No. 10 forward in the class by Rivals, and cut his list of 23 offers down to a final four of Duke, Florida, Ohio State, and Washington. He's set official visits with each of his finalists, and is slated to kick things off with the Buckeyes on September 5, before a trip to Seattle on September 18. From there, he'll head south to see the Gators on September 22 before wrapping things up with the Blue Devils on October 15.

NEWS: 2027 Top-30 overall recruit Deng Ngor is down to four schools, he tells @Rivals. The 6-8 small forward has scheduled official visits to each of his finalists and discusses each program: https://t.co/tSX97JS7rRpic.twitter.com/q2wm5kvF4P — Joe Tipton (@JoeTipton) August 13, 2026 "Ngor had a solid 3SSB campaign, averaging 12 points per game, but where he really stood out was in helping Canada to the gold medal of FIBA U18 Americas," 247Sports' Adam Finklestein wrote in his evaluation. "He’s a potentially versatile two-way forward who plays with length in the open floor, is bouncy at the rim, and a developing shooting threat. He made only 28 percent of his threes on just under 4 attempts per game in the grassroots season, but was at 38 percent in FIBA play." "He has a soft natural touch, quick release, and is utilized not just spotting up, but also in pick-and-pop actions as well. He doesn’t have much of a first step off the bounce, but elongates his strides effectively through the lane and can also be a long jumper. He has a bit of developing strength, but somewhat oddly proportioned body mechanics with high/wide hips, pretty broad shoulders, and long arms. He’s a sneaky good passer, who recorded 2.6 assists against 2.2 turnovers, and a budding versatile defender who plays with a motor and is very active contesting shots. Ngor is also older for his grade, having turned 18 in February of 2008." As coach Danny Sprinkle looks to add elite talent from the prep ranks, the Huskies are currently considered the favorites to land Ngor's services by the Rivals Prediction Machine at 29 percent, just ahead of their Big Ten rival Buckeyes at 25 percent.
