LeBron James almost achieved something on the golf course that most amateur golfers never do in decades of playing.
LeBron only started playing golf last year but he already loves the sport and has practiced regularly throughout the NBA offseason.
The 41-year-old has even launched a YouTube golf channel, with the first video from his trip to Scotland with his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates.
LeBron has also filmed a video with his son, Bronny, and former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Austin Reaves.
The four-time NBA champion almost made a hole-in-one at the stunning Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon.

LeBron James comes close to a hole-in-one
LeBron James, Bronny, and Austin Reaves played a three-vs-three scramble match against Bob Does Sports (Bobby Fairways, Joey Cold Cuts and The Fat Perez).
James teased several clips from the round on his Instagram stories ahead of the full video’s YouTube release.
The Philadelphia 76ers star hit an excellent approach shot on a par-three at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort that nearly went in the hole.
LeBron wrote: “Almost had my first hole-in-one today. I called it before I swung too. Damn close.”
If James had made a hole-in-one in his second year of playing golf, it would have been as impressive as many of his NBA achievements.
Unfortunately, he will have to wait another day to have that special moment, but the video should be exciting nonetheless.
While LeBron is a beginner, Austin Reaves is an excellent golfer and Bronny is also significantly better than most amateurs.
