West Ham begin their Championship campaign at Burnley this afternoon, as the relegated sides meet on the opening weekend.
Both teams struggled in the Premier League last season to lose their top-flight status, but begin the 2026/27 Championship season among the favourites for promotion.
West Ham start the season as promotion favourites, despite the big-money exits of Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville.
Jarrod Bowen has committed to the promotion challenge in a massive boost for the Hammers, while Arne Engels, Manor Solomon and Joel Veltman look shrewd signings at this level.
Nuno Espirito Santo has also opted to remain at the London Stadium and has previous in the second tier, having won the Championship at Wolves in 2017/18.

West Ham started their season with a 3-1 win over Portsmouth in the League Cup, a fixture that saw Valentin Castellanos scored twice. Nuno left out El Hadji Malick Diouf and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from the starting side for that win, amid transfer speculation over the full-back duo.
Manor Solomon will hope to make his West Ham debut at Turf Moor, after arriving from Tottenham Hotspur for an initial £5m. Fellow signing Keiber Lamadrid is expected to miss out with a minor injury.
