The Chicago Bears will open the 2026 preseason on Saturday afternoon against the Cleveland Browns. Head coach Ben Johnson's team will play their only home contest of the preseason before back-to-back road games.
Johnson previously announced that a number of starters won't play Saturday against the Browns, on both offense and defense, including quarterback Caleb Williams. But there are still a number of storylines to watch, especially with several position battles unfolding, rookies getting their first live action in the NFL and injuries starting to mount during training camp.
