The NFL season will sometimes show us what we want to see from players; other times, we may see something bad when it isn't there. For fans and media, it's essential to have a way to verify and balance information to prevent favoritism or bias from being portrayed in a negative light. Thanks to PFF, we will always have an extra set of eyes to examine the football game. One of the things they have provided plenty of this offseason and into the preseason has been rankings. The latest batch of rankings centered around the top 32 running backs in the NFL. They ranked the Browns' Quinshon Judkins in the back half of the listing, placing him at 25th overall. They explained the ranking, writing, "Judkins powered through poor offensive line play to record 998 yards from scrimmage before his rookie season was curtailed due to injury. He also led the Browns with seven rushing touchdowns while ranking 18th among all running backs with 41 missed tackles forced on the ground during the regular season. With good health and better offensive line play, Judkins should carry a heavy load for Cleveland in 2026." For Judkins and the Browns, his sophomore season could be a big one. New head coach Todd Monken seems keen on making sure the running game remains established, perhaps even using it more, in order to help the quarterback. For Judkins, even coming off a knee injury and being in a split backfield, he could be staring at a big 2026 season in the eyes. Maybe the 2027 rankings will be kinder to him.
