Under new head coach Robert Saleh, the Titans appear poised to take a significant step forward, and buzz is building around the organization. Unfortunately, not everyone feels the same way, and ESPN has the Titans near the bottom of its future power rankings.
No. 24: Tennessee Titans (Overall score: 74.2)
Reason for hope: A team should always be optimistic when it has a No. 1 pick. Cam Ward's 2025 season was far from statistically perfect, but the film shows a passer more than capable of running a quality NFL offense. With hits on Ward and 2026 first-rounder Carnell Tate, the Titans should have the cornerstones necessary to build a strong roster foundation. -- Solak
Reason for concern: There is a lot of work ahead for the new OC, Brian Daboll, to get this offense pointed in the right direction. The development of Ward is of the utmost importance. He can't endure another 55-sack season, combined with an abysmal 17.7% off-target percentage. That means Daboll will need to ensure Ward gets the ball out faster and with greater accuracy. Yes, the Titans could not restock every position during the offseason, but the work that did get done definitely reset the floor for the organization. The offense is young and needs to take a step forward in 2026, but the defense, led by Jeffery Simmons and built with a solid mix of experience and youth, should play an important role in both moving the Titans forward and setting them up for the future.
