Derek Stingley remains one of the best players in all of the NFL. He made the league's top-100 list, voted on by the players, at No. 25. The former LSU football star dropped seven spots from last year, when he ranked No. 18, but he remains a key piece of one of the league's best defensive units.
The cornerback earned his second Pro Bowl selection after a standout year with the Houston Texans. Stingley was one of their best players, and the Texans allowed the fewest points per game at 16.6 last season. He compiled nine pass breakups and four interceptions.
Stingley signed with LSU in 2019 as the cycle's top player. He recorded one of the best true freshman seasons in the history of the game, starting all 15 games and earning consensus All-American status. He left Baton Rouge as a national champion and one of the best defensive backs in the program's history.
