The team signed Joshua Dobbs, but undrafted rookie Luke Altmyer will likely see plenty of snaps in this one.

The Bengals are also looking to rebound from a disappointing season. The offense played well in 2025, but the defense struggled immensely, costing the team a shot at the postseason. The team added extensively on that side of the ball, including drafting edge rusher Cashius Howell in the second round. It will be interesting to see what the team does at quarterback in this one, as the top two players on the depth chart, Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco, don’t need preseason reps.
