This preseason matchup between the Rams and Chiefs is one that fans have been incredibly excited to watch because of all of the star power. One big decision coming into this game was whether quarterback Patrick Mahomes would get any playing time. Head coach Andy Reid told reporters that Mahomes would not be playing and instead the reps would go to Justin Fields, Garrett Nussmeier and Chris Oladokun.

Stetson Bennett has taken all of the first-team offense reps at quarterback on Matthew Stafford’s scheduled days off, while Ty Simpson took all of the second-team offense reps. After this game, the Rams will head home next week and take on the New Orleans Saints at SoFi Stadium. The Chiefs will play next Saturday, heading to Tampa to play the Buccaneers.
