Tapatío is ready for its next Apertura 2026 challenge. The Joven Rebaño will visit Ciudad Victoria tonight to face Correcaminos in Matchday 4 of the Liga de Expansión MX, kicking off at 7:00 PM at Estadio Marte R. Gómez.
For this match, José Meléndez has called up 19 players who will look to maintain the Joven Rebaño’s strong start to the AP26 and add another three points to their tally during their visit to Tamaulipas.
What are tonight’s new additions?
The squad features the returns of Sebastián Liceaga, Carlos Hernández, and Brandon Téllez. The first two recently represented the Selección Mexicana, as part of the U-20 squad that was crowned champions at the Concacaf U-20 Championship, while Téllez represented Mexico U-23 at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, where he won the silver medal.
