ORLANDO — No word on whether compensation was required, but Cole Kozlowski reclaimed his No. 43 jersey upon his addition to UCF's 2026 football roster on June 10.
Since the start of the spring semester, starting long snapper Kyle Hicks — a Georgia State transfer — held that number. He has since been reassigned the No. 44 shirt.
Seven holdovers switched shirts since the conclusion of the 2025 campaign. The Knights also signed 35 transfers and 23 true freshmen.
