Another former No. 1 overall pick from Duke recently received a new rating in the popular basketball video game NBA 2K, as the 2027 edition is set to release next month. Unfortunately for the New Orleans Pelicans star, his rating dropped from last season.
Williamson will have an 85 overall rating in NBA 2K27 after entering last year with an 87. This rating put him in a tie with 13 other players for No. 44 overall. Williamson's highest mark came three seasons ago, his first and only 90 overall rating to this point. Last season, the former Blue Devil averaged 21 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, one steal and 0.5 blocks. Williamson's points and rebounds per game totals were career-low marks throughout his first six seasons.
If the New Orleans Pelicans are able to improve on a 26-56 record in the Western Conference, they'll need Williamson to play at an All-Star level, something he's certainly capable of doing.
